Hello, I’m Julie Hood

I help boards and CEOs work effectively and deliver results.

After training as a registered nurse in Christchurch I moved to Wellington and spent a career in leadership and more recently governance and planning roles in a range of public, private, not-for profit and government organisations.  

I am now back home - recreating my professional life through private practice consulting while completing a doctorate in governance and freeing up time to dance!

Over my career I have been influenced by and at times impacted by what occurs at the interface of governance and leadership: I think we can always do better.
